Using traditional craft methods and materials Vanessa Pascan specializes in the upholstery of period and antique furniture. After a 5 year apprenticeship and a total of 8 years practicing traditional upholstery Vanessa has the highly specialized skills and experience to transform a wide range of furniture. She is an upholsterer who can also arrange for full restoration. Collection from anywhere in Bedford, Bedfordshire shire is free, and by negotiation from other counties, including Hertfordshire, Cambridgeshire and Buckinghamshire.

Victorian balloon back armchair with scrolled feet and arm pads. Re-upholstered using discontinued Linwood fabric. Folding campaign chair with separate cushion and rust red Damask upholstery.  Pincushion seat and Back reupholstered with matching fabric. Padded backrest. Repaired wood filled and polished. Iron back chair with deep buttoned back and sides. Gold velvet upholstery, Hessian foundation, stitched fibre and calico layers.  On these types of chairs, each layer is stitched to the iron frame as no tacks can be used on the iron structure.
